Import procedure

Importer – Please inform Blueway Corporation of a shipment instruction after checking INCOTERMS, import items, place of loading, place of delivery, the method of freight transportation(Air or Ocean), total number of packages, gross weight, measurement(volume), exporter contact information.
* A competitive price can’t be calculated by only checking the quotation of air and ocean freight charges. We compare all kinds of prices including from international transportation charges to inland logistics cost which end up making the accurate and cost-effective price. For that reason, we can provide more high quality and accurate service to help your business to boost your profit.

International transportation – With our foreign logistics partners, we pick up products from an exporter and send them to South Korea via air, ocean.
* A forwarder without professional knowledge about KFDS’ test can make mistakes of the items’ name, weight and the delay of an arrival notification. For that reason you will face the delay of your import procedures. In order to prevent any delay from possible problems, we check all kinds of matters in real time during import process with KFDS’s test. You can block any problems in advance with our help.

Bonded warehouse – Goods will be placed at our bonded warehouse when they arrive at airport/port.
* There are huge differences between the ordinary cargo and the cargo that should be tested by KFDS. We make a progressing at importing process by understanding goods fully in advance and preparing for KFDS’ test with keeping imported products.

License – Obtaining import license according to a verification of the clearance requirements for each product. * The certificate of import declaration about food products (The case of forestry and agricultural products, livestock products, Health functional food processed food, food additives , utensils and containers and packaging), an approval of the report on the standard customs clearance schedule.(In the case of cosmetics)

Import clearance – Processing the import declaration for approved items.
* We provide the FTA consulting service about import duties, tax avoidance after checking FTA agreement for each country with the licensed customs agent.

Transportation – We will deliver the freight to the warehouse that the importer designated.
* We’re doing our best at reduction in delivery costs with direct allocation of the driver of freight from our company as well as shipping companies’ service that are our partners.

Exporter– Please inform Blueway Corporation of a shipment instruction after checking INCOTERMS, export items, place of loading, place of delivery, the method of freight transportation(Air or Ocean), total number of packages, gross weight, measurement(volume).

Inland transportation – We pick up products from an importer and send them to export warehouse.
* We’re doing our best at reduction in delivery costs with direct allocation of the driver of freight from our company as well as shipping companies’ service that are our partners.

Export clearance – With required export documents(Commercial invoice, Packing list), we proceed with export clearance.
* We cooperate with the licensed customs agent to make an accurate export clearance by checking whether or not export requirements are obtaining, HS CODE and an applicant’s information for refund.

International transportation – According to exporter’s request(Air or Ocean), we proceed international transportation. We provide information of the schedule of the departure from Korea and arrival at the import country including the progress of import in the import country with its delivery status.

Importer – Our foreign logistics partner confirms the delivery from the importer and notifies the exporter. In order to provide good service that clients satisfy, we’re doing our best with our partners closely.
